I learnt about plant dissection with my dad and did the starch test and talked about photosynthesis.

first we cut off a leaf from a geranium and stuffed it in a fat test tube then we pipetted meths into the tube and gave it a boiling water bath. That got rid of the chlorophyll. We put the leaf on a plate and used a pipette to put iodine solution on the leaf. It went black wich means there was starch in the leaf.

The starch is important because it means the pant has photosynthesized.

today I learnt about Gems, these are the basics: diamond and emerald here is what they look like

so me and my sister are doing a project to make a post about space and space is big,realy big so its gonna take a long long time. So strap in (to you it won’t take long but for us its gonna take a couple days maybe more)

Today I learnt about punctuation I didn’t know

the colon introduce’s a list. A example of which is today for breakfast I had three things: orange juice,scrambled eggs and toast. But don’t use it if it is going with the flow of the sentence.

the semi-colon is a more posh comma.
